Cycling is one of the fastest growing pastimes in the world, in fact it is fast outstripping golf as the most popular weekend activity globally. Painted Wolf Wines top dog, Jeremy Borg is an avid cyclist. His training rides often take him from Paarl to Kasteelsig near Malmesbury and back again with a grape check at the halfway point. Painted Wolf Wines also hosts pedals4paws rides in remote pieces of wilderness to raise funds for Wild Dog conservation. It is therefore fitting that Painted Wolf Wines will be pouring at the Standard Bank Africa Cycle Fair this weekend. We will be there to talk to you about our wines, our cycling events and our advocacy for remaining Wild Dogs roaming around Africa. You could be there to taste some of our terrific tipples while eyeing carbon frames and lycra suited bods – not a bad way to spend a day!

The Fair is taking up the (fairly easy) challenge of promoting cycling as a lifestyle choice. Along with lean mean peddling machines and accessories, you can also enjoy family activities, non-competitive races, good food and even better drink (yes we are madly promoting our part in it), talks, and an amazing venue, the Nirox Foundation Sculpture Park. If you are looking for a great day out this weekend, look no further.
