You are invited to attend an exclusive wine pairing dinner at the Fig Tree Café to raise funds for tracking collars for African wild dogs.
The Fig Tree Café and Painted Wolf Wines are teaming up to bring you an delicious three course dinner exploring South African flavours, accompanied by award winning wines that feature two iconic South African grapes, Chenin Blanc and Pinotage.
All the wines have been donated which means that 25% of the ticket price will be donated to the EWT for their Collar Fund.
African wild dogs (Painted wolves) are South Africa’s rarest carnivore with only about 600 individuals living in the country. The population throughout Africa sits at about 5500-6000. The Endangered Wildlife Trust is doing it’s best to increase these social canine’s chances. One of the ways to keep track of their health and welfare is to keep track of the packs. This can only be achieved with radio collars and they cost a lot!
